Eight Stellenbosch Rotarians are presently attending the District 9350 Conference in Oudtshoorn.

As part of our New Energy Initiative and our goal to ensure that all our projects and activities are sustainable Stellenbosch Rotary Club decided to ”off-set” the environmetal impact of travelling to the conference by purchasing two trees from Food & Trees for Africa (http://www.trees.co.za). The trees will be planted as part of Food & Trees for Africa’s National Tree Distribution Programme in the Stellenosch Winelands area.
There will be no Rotary meeting on Tuesday, 5th May 2009.
The next meeting will be Tuesday 12th May when we will give you feedback on the Rotary conference which is being held this coming week from 8-10 May in Outdshoorn.
8 Stellenbosch Rotarians are travelling up by combi to attend.
